Rupert Zideck is a Hollywood film agent responsible of filming a war film in Khe Sanh US airbase. During the filming, the base was under attack. He, the actress Serena and Nate tried to escape from the base. He managed to board the PT boat on the jetty and escaped with Nate. During the trip to safehouse upriver, a fello infected GI killed the boat chief, leading to boat's crash. He escaped into the jungle and saved Nate by manning the Spec Ops boat on the mansion's jetty. During the attack on the temple, he escaped into the temple. Nate found him crawling out a hole but an infected Vietcong dragged him and threw him off the cave's cliff. His body was torn apart by horde of infected below.
